'Legend' is a crime bio-topic drama based on the life of the Kray twins. The film stars Tom Hardy along with an assemble of British actors. The film is directed by Brian Helgeland.
Outstanding Performance from Tom Hardy, even in my opinion; Oscar worthy (doubtful that he will be nominated though) Entertaining throughout and sometimes even thought provoking. Stylish direction and gorgeous cinematography from Dick Pope, a sparkling 60s soundtrack and a great cast.
However, the character of Francis feels very underwritten in the first half of the film. The first act of the film felt like a Scorsese imitation, but the second and third act won me over as the film came into it's own.
